Hopkins Public Schools voters have approved both a $140 million bond and a capital projects levy renewal. Three school board members - Rachel Hartland, Johanna Hyman and Sara Wilhelm Garbers - were also elected to the Hopkins School Board.
“Thank you Hopkins voters for affirming your commitment to students, staff, and the future of our district. These resources will help us deliver on our vision of excellence and innovation,” said Superintendent Dr. Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed.
Referendum Results:
According to preliminary results from the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office, both measures passed with strong community support - the bond received 72.95 percent of support and the capital projects levy 77.87 percent of support.
- The bond referendum will fund critical facility updates, safety improvements, and modernization across Hopkins schools.
- The capital projects levy will continue supporting technology infrastructure, digital learning tools, and curriculum development for the next decade.
- More information about both is on the referendum webpage.
